Group Facilitator Needed
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Group Assistant or Group Facilitator
Working within a classroom can be a very rewarding experience. It can give you the opportunity to make a real difference in a peoples’ lives, and enrich your own. We will provide you with training, curriculum, resources and on-going support while you are either supporting an instructor or running a small group.
Training
Tutor applicants will participate in a 10-hour online training workshop. After the training you will receive a minimum of 4 hours of mentoring with the curriculum materials and group of students that you will be tutoring.

Here are the steps you will take to become an Adult Literacy Tutor:
- Download, print and complete the application form.
- Send the form to our Outreach Coordinator, Marilena Benak.
- Meet with a Program Coordinator so we can tell you more about the position and you can get all the information you need.
- Complete the training.
- Be matched with your student and start.
